Autumn is the coolest month

This time of year up here in the hills is just lovely. Suddenly the mornings are cool, and the garden is looking so delicious, I could almost put my had down, like the cows, and graze on it.

Best thing though is that the fruit is all falling - passionfruit, guava, the last of the watermelon, lemons, rosella and the cucumber vines are giving it up.

The juicer has been running hot. This morning I put all these through it with a handful of mint.

Delicious.

  1. Whilst turning an autumn shade of green here, I will be happy for you. I will also remember the promise here to, it is not a case of if, but when we move away from the city.
But really, yes it is stunning come this time of the year.

  5. Are you ok?
390 mm in six hours is about the most insane rain I've ever experienced.

  6. We're fine up here - high ground other than moral is useful in weather like this. We only had 200, but 115mm of it was in about two hours.
Nearly didn't make it home from a meeting in town.

Guess it's a bit of a mess down on the flat though. How's it with you?

    But all acounted for.

Wasn't called in for the yacht or flooding so just another wet day off.

Again I don't know what I did to piss Dog off, but crikey She can hold a grudge.
