Fluddites - Then and Now



This was written by Geoff in the wake of the '74 flood, but equally applicable to now, so I've pulled together a bit of a slideshow to go with it.

It is from his previous album New Depression Songs.

    I liked the imagery link to the lyrics. "plastic doll stuck in the s bend" with the river shot - classic. I loved the interplay between the '74 and current pics.
    Looks like its the Sunday gig for us at The Excelsior but wouldn't be surprised to go double helpings. Some good pedigree in those three bands.
